Molecular Oncology focuses on establishing new concepts in diagnosis, prognosis, and cancer prevention, joining hands with medical oncologists and pathologists. The laboratory has two divisions: Research and Therapeutics (2) Molecular Diagnostics.
Facilities:
· Advanced facilities for DNA/RNA analysis such as PCR based sanger sequencing, NGS, and real-time PCR (quantitative PCR, qPCR)
· High-resolution molecular cytogenetic analysis using FISH and karyotyping to detect chromosomal translocation, gene amplification, and deletions or duplication of DNA.
