Dr.Kavitha R Dinesh is serving as Sr.Consultant Microbiologist and Head of Laboratory services since July 2017. She has completed her MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore University in1988 and MD in Microbiology, also from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher education, in 1995. She started her career as a lecturer in Microbiology at Father Muller’s Medical College, Mangalore. She has a total of 24 years of teaching and diagnostic experience. Prior to joining MVRCCRI, she was working as Professor and Head of Department of Microbiology at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. She is a native of Thalassery .
